Paris Faith Winter - CD Release & Concert
Hello friends. Here we are in mid-February and I send you all blessings as you move through 2018. My last blog was on the topic of Visioning, and setting intentions to make our dreams come true.
On that topic… I wanted to give you, my closest friends and followers, an update. I finished the recording on my album!! The last recording session was on December 9th. Between then and now I have been working steadily to release my album. There have been many details to attend to. In addition to working with Megasonic Studios (where the album was recorded) on the final mastering, I have been moving through the process of creating artwork for the cover and researching & solving how to create my CDs, and distribute my songs online via the many popular channels available (iTunes, Amazon, Pandora, etc.). My vocal coach, Lisa Ferraro, has been a tremendous help through this entire experience. If you have not already done so, please take a moment to check out her web page and music HERE. One other thing that I wanted to share is that I am having a CD Release Concert and Reception! This too has taken some planning. Tammy Hall, the enormously talented pianist who accompanied me on the album will also accompany me at the concert. At the concert, I plan to sing songs featured on the album, including a number of opera arias (Mozart, Schubert) and a couple of contemporary songs, in addition to songs not featured on the album. We are holding the concert and reception on Saturday, March 24th at 5:30 PM at R. Kassman Piano in Berkeley. If you live in the Bay Area, consider this your invitation. I have created a page in Eventbrite where you can register for the event. There is a $20 cover charge and I will be selling my CDs there, and accepting donations with a possibility to expand the project to a longer album in the future.

This has been a tremendous experience of creative evolution. I have been growing so much in learning how to use my voice in this way. I am profoundly grateful for the support and encouragement that I have received along the way from all of you. It is extremely exciting to share my first album of music with you and discover where this takes me. Here’s hoping that you love it the way I do!
